MARINA WALKER
GARDEN PHOTOGRAPHER
Marina Walker is an award-winning, published garden photographer based on the Hertfordshire-London border, working across London, the Home Counties, and beyond. She works with garden designers, landscape architects, florists, and editorial teams to produce photographs for portfolios, publications, websites, and marketing.
Her work in garden photography began in the early 2010s, when she started documenting her late mother’s garden, a space she took on as her own. Photographing the same garden over time taught her how to work with natural light, tune into the rhythm of the seasons, and make measured visual decisions. That period of self-taught practice highlighted the mental benefits of spending time in gardens and laid the foundation for what would later become a professional career.
Her work has been recognised by the Garden Media Guild, where she was named Portfolio Photographer of the Year in 2024 & 2025.
Alongside her commissioned work, Marina sells a curated collection of prints, as well as greeting cards featuring her photography in retailers worldwide, including Ryman Design.
Marina holds a BA (Hons) degree in History of Art and is currently studying part-time towards a Diploma in Garden Design. Her debut solo exhibition was held at Myddelton House Gardens in September 2021.
