Welcome

Hello – I’m Marina, a freelance garden photographer based on the Hertfordshire–London border. I work across the UK with garden designers, landscapers, florists, and brands in the horticultural industry.

I specialise in garden photography that captures garden design, planting schemes, and the mood of a space throughout the seasons. My approach is natural and considered, embracing the character and detail of each space.

Feel free to explore my portfolio, photography services, and shop — and get in touch if you’re interested in working together.

Working with me

I offer clear, professional imagery of planting, garden design, floristry, horticultural products and more. Whether for websites, publications, marketing or personal use, strong photography makes all the difference.

I take a thoughtful, observant approach to garden photography, aiming to capture what makes each setting distinctive - whether it’s formal or naturalistic, contemporary or traditional. My focus is on light, composition and atmosphere, working with what’s there to create images that feel authentic and true to the space.

My photography also offers the opportunity to track a garden’s progress over time, from early stages to full maturity, or across the changing seasons.

By working with me, you ensure that every detail of your garden, project or brand is documented with accuracy and care.

Who I work with

I work with a wide range of clients across the garden and floristry industries, including private garden owners, designers, landscape contractors, florists, brands, and garden-related businesses.

Whether you're building a portfolio, promoting your work online, documenting an event or creating marketing content, I tailor each shoot to your specific goals.

I'm also open to creative collaborations, such as working with garden writers, publishers and other professionals on editorial features, books and longer-term projects.

Whatever the brief, I bring a flexible, professional approach to produce images that communicate the quality and vision of your project.

November 2024

I am thrilled to share I won ‘Portfolio Photographer of the Year’ at the Garden Media Guild Awards 2024, held at The Savoy, for a set of eight flower photos.

I truly didn’t expect it and the whole day was so incredibly special. It really felt like a testament to the dedication I’ve put into my photography and career up until now.

The judges said: “The winner’s beautiful macro photography reveals so much detail that the viewer has to spend time admiring the intricate complexity captured in each image. These photographs are not just botanical observations but - through the winner’s special way of capturing and editing the images - they are also art. The more you look at the photographs, the more these magical details reveal themselves.”

Some of my winning images can be viewed in my flower photography portfolio here.
